About Gina Mastroluca

Gina Mastroluca

Gina grew up along the coast of Maine and has had a lifelong interest in health and spirituality. She believes that we each have a remarkable capacity for self-healing, and that we can rely upon our own wisdom as we heal and transform our lives. The focus and intention of her professional life is to support and care for people on this path.

Her mind/body approach is grounded in mindfulness meditation and an ongoing study of Buddhist Psychology spanning the last 20 years.  Gina has a strong interest in the science of meditation and has been deeply guided by the traditional teachings of renowned meditation teachers, The Dalai Lama and Thrangu Rinpoche. She also draws inspiration from the teachings and writings of Elizabeth Mattis Namgyel, an American Buddhist author.

Gina is a Board Certified Polarity Practitioner and was an instructor of Polarity Therapy for 9 years. Polarity Therapy, with its philosophical roots in India’s Ayurvedic Medicine, provided a foundation for Gina to continue studying Ayurveda with Dr. Vasant Lad and other influential teachers. A writer and avid researcher, Gina has published articles on Ayurveda, Energy Medicine, Aromatherapy and Meditation. Gina enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for mind/body health and has presented various workshops over the years including classes for Maine Audubon, Avena Botanicals, and The University of New England. She also finds great joy in tending her backyard garden of over 50 medicinal plants and trees.

Gina has a Bachelor of Arts in English, studied in France and traveled throughout Europe learning about Mediterranean health practices. Her travels to Nepal and India—the birthplace of Ayurveda, Buddhism and Yoga–have been an important part of her training and inspiration. She has spent time at Anne McIntyre’s Herbal and Ayurvedic clinic in England and together they created Living Wisdom: The Foundations of Ayurveda Course.

Whole Health Wisdom is ever evolving as a source of inspiration, collaboration, and learning about mind/body health and living in balance with our world.

Gina provided a serene, compassionate space where I could start healing myself on all levels. She took the time to truly listen and understand me as a whole person.
